SOMEWOT DETAILED PERSONALITY
- ENFP
- ON THE SURFACE, Avery is a near mirror reflection of her boyfriend. Miss Day--or Ms. West as she sometimes goes by-- is earnest and high on life with a slight tendency towards obnoxiousness (though this is unintentional). She loves feeling happy and LIVING and finds joy in absolutely EVERYTHING most others would deem ordinary or commonplace, such as sunshine, or flowers by the sidewalk, or stray dogs.
The things that make her happiest, however are people. And the one that makes her heart just burst? Elly, of course! - In private, Avery is a very introspective, reflective person. She makes sure this NEVER shows though... as she doesn't want to come off as a burden or an oddity!!
- Even if it tires her out, she will try her hardest to put everybody before herself. And, even if it pains her, she will go OUT OF HER WAY to make things better for those in need. She's prone to stressing out and blaming herself when she fails to fix a problem, or cheer a person up.
- She tends to internalizes all feelings of anger or sadness and is incredibly awkward when she speaks about herself!
- Her rampant altruism leads her to her death
- Before she died, she was able to transfer her life energy into her legs, and thus run very fast! However, it tired her heart out and this leads to her dying.
- For now, she is dormant in a puppet. She can be pressed into other material objects, though she is most comfortable in that puppet. Should Elly falter once and forget to hold her soul into a vessel, she will be pulled away into the afterlife.
- She can't feel anymore, though she won't tell Elly this because she knows it'll make him feel even guiltier.
- Her father, Montgomery Day, and her mother Holly Day were incredibly loving, doting people. SO, having lived in a nice, warm home all her life, Avery feels incredibly privileged, though sometimes guiltily so.
- ONE DAY IN GRAMMAR SCHOOL SHE MET AND BEFRIENDED A PINK HAIRED BOY BY THE NAME OF ELLISON WEST. It was a rainy day, and she was shocked! to see that he did not possess an umbrella, nor any money for a cabbie. So, she decides to force him to come home with her.
- Then, they found that they have lots in common, and they became best friends.
- And then Avery’s parents both die. And Avery is to be sent off to her aunt in the country.
- But, then Ellies is like THAT’S DUMB LET’S ELOPE INSTEAD. So, they do at the ages of 14 and 15.
- Then, they basically travel across the country, living off the charm of their youth, and luck, and sometimes stealing to get by!
And then at Elly’s urging, they get super powers from the aforementioned scientist (from the plot!) - Elly's power I described in his profile. Avery’s was simply super speed! Which was awesome, because she was never really an athletic girl to begin with. They have a jolly good time with their powers, and Elly is all happyyyy in spite his lame power! But, then Avery dies because heart disease runs in her family, and the strain of her power was too much.
Her dying words were “I’m so sorry, Elly” and “I don’t want to go.” - So, Ellies becomes depressed and guilt-ridden as FUCKKKK. And then he looks around, and in a brief moment of weakness, he binds Avery’s soul back into a ventriloquist’s puppet, which was a Christmas gift some years ago.
- Avery didn’t really know what to think when she became a puppet. But, since she’s with Ellies and an unfaltering optimist, she’s become glad they’ll depart together when Ellies dies. She worries about Elly, however... Because...
Ellies on the otherhand is now currently struggling between his CLINGINESS TO AVERY and FEAR OF BEING ALONE, and the GUILT that he is partially responsible for turning Avery into this. He is constantly apologetic to her, and is trying to become more responsible, and taking up a ventriloquist act at a Music Hall in order to get more monies and buy her a nicer doll to stick her in *___* )b
Oh, and Elly is on the lookout for the scientist dude to beat his face in.
Relationships
- Ellison: They are madly devoted to each other-- soul mates, really! They have extremely similar dispositions so their ENERGIES practically BOUNCE off one another and they have a crazy lot in common (like their penchants for adventure and travel, their love of flowers, their belief systems, what have you).
But, while they bring out the best in one another (they make each other SO HAPPY. SO SO HAPPY)... they bring out some bad traits as well. When they are together, Avery and Elly each feel even more invincible, which leads to rather destructive things on both their parts. Avery is more willing to get into dangerous situations at Elly's urging, while Elly always jumps at the opportunity to defend Avery's honour! Elly also tends to be a terrible listener and Avery tends to be altruistic and a pushover. YEAH!
All in all, you can't tear them apart without breaking the other down as well. They are very fiercely devoted to one another, and they're both pretty grateful that they'll depart to the afterlife together when Elly dies. - Parents: She misses them a whole lot, but only cries about them when Elly isn't looking.
- She has a tendency to cite advice from her mother.
- Mother's side of the family was prone to heart problems/failure. Avery has a weak heart
- Likes the colours teal, yellow, and pink
- When she ran away with Elly, she packed up like a lot of clothes! And her life's savings from b-days and such.
- I informally described Ellies' and Avery's living situation as such:
The building is about 4 stories and on a rather seedy side of town and is dilapidated on the outside. A lot of the windows are broken or bricked over, and it is leaking and the floorboards creak! They don't know why the building is abandoned nor do they ever find out, though they like pretending it is haunted and that the old tenants were much too cowardly to stay.
The area of the building they are squatting in is at the very top floor near the ladder to the attic and next to a stove which serves as their fireplace. In the attic, are their travelling bags (and basically Avery's own personal dressing room.)
For furniture, they have some old couches (that were already there) and a few cushions piled up on top of each other to form two makeshift beds with a headboard on each. They have a bunch of odd assorted "souvenirs" from their adventures across ENGLAND, like statuettes and dolls and a stuffed bear and paintings and books and a globe and all that what.. Their curtains are made out of outgrown/ruined clothing.
There are clothes lines hanging here and there, and alcohol bottles that Elly is trying to hide from Avery. Mostly, they live off of the monies they had taken from their parents, the charm of their youth, and when things become absolutely dire, stealing.
CROSSOVERS
- She'd make a really fruity boy with a tricorn hat LOL. Yeah.
- She tends to die every universe Elly is in, and I (and my inner-feminist) feel really bad about this. I think I'll make a universe where Elly dies, and Avery is the one that must suffer though the consequences. YES.
- LOL AS I JUST MENTIONED, I feel really bad for Avery because she dies every single universe Elly is in, no matter what. I really like Avery! She's really sweet! I wish she'd stay around longer (in her human form). So yeah. I'll just flip it and make Elly die in another universe.
- That'd be p. interesting.
- HEH HEH...
- She's one of my prettiest girls (face-wise). She has that very traditional, fair English rose face in my imagination.
